White Wine Tasting
Our summer white wine tasting may have to become an annual event. We had a great turnout and the wines were fabulously light and refreshing. For this event, we featured five different varietals from five countries and kicked it off with the Sophia from California. Guests enjoyed a variety of cheese including a double cream gouda from Uniekaas that was the hit of the evening. One of the favorite wines of the night was the Casal Garcia Vinho Verde from Portugal. Look for more exciting tastings to come.
South American Tasting
In June we tasted some interesting grapes from South America. The Malbec and Carneros were the favorites of the evening although the Argentinian sparkling from CRJ was very popular. We also featured some local cheese from Lovell's in Krebs, Oklahoma - our own little taste of Italy!
Sushi and Wine Dinner
Our palates were tantalized as Sushi Chef Josh Vitt prepared a stellar 7 course dinner to go with our wine selections. We also featured saki, served chilled which I hear went perfectly with the naguri. Our outdoor setting provided a perfect opportunity to mingle between courses.
